Satirical French postcard published after the Mona Lisa was stolen from the Louvre on 21 August 1911. In this caricature of Leonardo’s painting, “La Joconde” blows a farewell kiss. The caption reads: “Un baiser à tous les amis qui venaient me voir à Paris” (“A kiss to all the friends who used to come and see me in Paris”).
