2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the paid “Send a postcard” service on this website: you choose one of the postcards offered, write a short message, and we send a digital version of that postcard (front and back, with your message) by e-mail to the recipient you specify. Browsing the collection itself is free and does not require you to accept these terms.
3. Who can use the service
The service is offered to consumers living in the European Union. You must be at least 16 years old. If our payment provider reports that you are based outside the EU, your payment is refunded automatically and no postcard is sent.
4. Price and payment
The price is €1.99 per postcard, including VAT. Prices are in euros. Payment is handled by our payment provider Mollie B.V.; we never see or store your card or bank details. The agreement is concluded once your payment has been confirmed.
5. Delivery
The postcard is sent by e-mail immediately after your payment has been confirmed, normally within a few minutes. You receive a confirmation by e-mail. We cannot guarantee that the recipient's mail system will accept or display the message (for example, it may end up in a spam folder).
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you normally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. Because the postcard is sent straight after payment, we ask you before payment to explicitly agree that we start immediately and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the postcard has been sent. Without that consent we cannot process your order.
If something goes wrong on our side — for example, the postcard is not sent, or not sent correctly — please contact us at mail@tgtc.org and we will resend it or refund you in full.
7. Your message
You are responsible for the e-mail addresses you enter and for the content of your message. Do not use the service to send messages that are unlawful, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate, or to send postcards to people who don't want to receive them. We may refuse or stop an order that breaks these rules; in that case we refund the payment.
8. Images
The postcards are vintage images from a private collection. The digital postcard is meant for personal, non-commercial use by you and the recipient.
9. Liability
Our liability for any damage resulting from the service is limited to the amount you paid for the postcard concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence, or where the law does not allow such a limitation.

11. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. This does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law of the EU country where you live.
